I am a twenty-something year old graduate student living in the Midwest. I have been a lot of things in my life - student, professional, world traveler. One thing I thought I would never be, however, was an athlete. I am the most unathletic person I know. I am the most unatheletic person anyone knows.

That changed when two years ago, I started running as a way to cope with the immense stress of a major career transition. I don't have any natural talent, but I push myself every day to go a little bit faster, or push a little bit further. I am literally taking this journey "Step by Step".
I started this blog primarily to document my progress as I become a stronger runner. Besides that, I may post about my musical discoveries, culinary dalliances, and the quirks of every day life.
I don't have a lot of pictures of myself, so here I am holding a stovepipe. |
